See pic of the difference in the length of the spark plugs for the 998. I had to get a spark plug socket turned down on a lathe to get the old ones out. There appears to be a flange at the base of the spark plug recess in the heads which makes accessing the 'normal length' plugs difficult to get access to without the specialist plug socket. Thought other may like to see this.
