Big fan of all things Attenborough. Fantastic photography but I rather have his commentary than the big-sound mood music.
Just remember that when several shots are edited together to create a dramatic narrative, those shots may have been taken hours or days apart and may not be in chronological sequence, or even involve the same animals. And the audio track is largely unconnected to the video.
Absolutely brilliant series, did anybody watch Gordon Buchanon with the wolf family, another great wildlife series.
Yep Attenborough is a national treasure. I've watched all his stuff since I was a young whipper snapper and I'm 52 now! How bloody old is he? As mentioned, BBC deserve credit for all the life on earth stuff. Brilliant. And those snakes eh?? Cor blimey, like something out of Sinbad.... I'm away working a lot so my wife records the series.
When the BBC gets it right, it gets it right. Wonderful that nearly 10 million watched the last episode beating the X Factor - There is hope for Britain! Who will be able to replace the wonderful David Attenborough, still doing it so well at 90 years....
And tucking into a prawn cocktail followed by fish pie whilst watching it....? Sat with feet in one of those nibbling foot spas for the full immersive experience .....
absolutely awesome, still think David Attenborough and Gordon Buchanan are the best wildlife presenters on any channel.
no... I was gunna be cheeky and say, you are getting up there but still get out and about! But I thought better of it! D'oh!!
