2005 S2r 800 clocks. Very good condition, have small scratch on rev counter that looks like it will polish out. £150+£8.50 p&p next day insured delivery.
I am interested, but isn't there a problem with the ignition/ starting the bike if you change clocks?
Don't know, but I have red key and code card. I think you can reset it with them. Will supply with clocks.
Great -the pic makes it look worse than it obviously is in actuality. I will get back to you tomorrow after I call Neil if thats OK? Would you keep them for me overnight?
You know what. Looking at that photo, it does look cracked. Let me have a look in the day tomorrow and I'll tell you for definite.
Sure. I have one that looks similar... I will call Neil to check fitting anyway and post back here tomorrow night.
@Jez900ie the keys, ECU and clocks are coded together on these bikes its a bit of a ballache but doable with the chip in the red key to make these work on your bike you would need to have your ECU made virgin (speak to @chrisw on here) you would then need to remove the chip from the red key and use it to code the virgin ECU, clocks and your existing black keys together. instructions are in the workshop manual your existing mechanical (key card) code would stay the same as your old code card, your electrical code would be the one on the new code card also your odometer reading will be whatever these clocks say
Hi, how is the scratch looking? The coding scenario according to Funkatronic is doable although a pain... I spoke to Niel at Cornerspeed who said the same! Let me know when you get a chance. No hurry from myside but if the lenses are good (hopefully!) I will then only need your paypal details. Later JEZ
Hi there. I would have expected you to have contacted me by now so I'm assumed you didnt want it. This morning I received several offers over he asking price so I'm afraid they are no longer for sale. Ultimately I said I would hang on to it until you contacted corner speed who closed two hours ago. Kind regards, Dave.
I think to be frank its somewhat disappointing as I wrote clearly that I would contact you here tomorrow night which you replied" No Worries". That all seemed fairly clear to me. They are your clocks.
No I didn't Jez. Look back at the texts. I agreed to keep them overnight on the proviso that you would contact cornerspeed. I have waited the time that I agreed and you were flaffing. I was selling the item and agreed to keep it for you, expecting you to contact me earlier. Sorry you feel perturbed, but I had no inquisition off the buyer who bough them of spec after seeing the photos and hearing the description. Dave.
