Made to measure for me by the original Swift company when I was 5'-6" tall, 42" chest; narrow-ish waist. Cost in late 80s about £900. Tough german cowhide IIRC; double padded leather in places; a bit scruffy now - well, I was a sidecar passenger after all; hence the lining has been trimmed out of legs and forearms as it used to stick to me. Two internal zipped pockets and two side zipped vents. Some armour left, god knows what though. I haven't got the heart to take them up to the local dump. Beer tokens or similar . PM me if interested.
I couldn’t my old Hideout Leathers if I was paid to. Too many memories in those and not all good !! Keep em !
Careful, with a rear end shot like that it'll only be a matter of minutes before you're featuring in the new thread @Loz has just started https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threa...by-members-of-ducatiforum.55610/#post-1003581 Ps - keep em, hard to replace memories mate
Agree, hang on to them. I've still got my Interstate leathers from the early eighties. Not been able to get into them for about t 10yrs but couldn't consider getting rid of them, every scrape tells a story and brings back great memories of 2 and 3 wheel laughs (and a few upsets).
Yeah, make a 'champion corner' where you hang your leathers, a helmet, any trophies are photos that you particularly like etc, better than a painting any day
I was 5'-6", now I'm 5'-5"..........Mrs AL lost 2" from her spine thro' osteoporosis....T 12 has nearly disappeared.
S'OK....that's what happens when you get old....an inch lost on a shorty is a lot compared to six footers. Wait until you get all shrivelled up and decrepit............... But I can still give you a damn good thrashing on track on solos........
Nah.......Many have tried and many have failed....... Including me....... ...but I could throw a C3 ZZR1100 around better than my race mate on a Ninja 900 and I led Foggy into Russells on a ZXR 750 (got the photo to prove it too....)
