Ccm Flat Tracker

Discussion in 'Other Bikes' started by Masklin, Nov 29, 2017.

  1. Bearing in mind the CCM Scrambler thread below, having been mulling it over for a few days after seeing it at the NEC (and very much liking the previous Spitfire bikes), I’ve just put down a deposit on the Flat Tracker.

Less than forty left now out of two hundred and fifty, get in quick!

  2. Yeah, I like the FT6 too. This is fast becoming a CCM forum! :worried:

  4. They seem to be taking quite a few deposits but am I right in saying that they have moved the delivery time quite a few times for those who have already paid deposits. When did they saw yours would be arriving?

  5. Indeed noobie. The delivery times keep on slipping. Was meant to be in November for the scrambler. Now it’s looking like next year.

  6. And the damage is?

  7. A mate ordered one the other week. Any more pictures? How much are they - I think the price increased since the first Spitfire sales success did it not?

  8. Just under £10 k. Scrambler was just over 9. However some of the extras add up. Eg £5 k for twin front disc conversion for original spitfire. ( not so much now on new models as they have changed the forks )

  9. Original Spitfire was £7995 plus OTR charges. They realised they'd under priced it so they put an extra grand on for the Scrambler and Cafe Racer.

  10. Thought so - might have had a FT at £8k - only thing I don't like is the odd CCM tank shape.

  11. Quoted July next year yesterday. If it slips it is not the end of the world, I’m pretty relaxed about the delivery date as would rather they got it right. Will be a pure fun second bike only.

  14. T9 headlights

  15. How much extra do they charge for painting it? Needs colour. Too much raw metal for me.

  16. If it’s 5k for a disc, Caliper and brake line, about 7k?

  17. It’s £690 fitted for the twin disk option, just sayin’.

  18. Quite a few variants on display. This one seemed little too raw/bare bones for my liking and whilst I appreciate nice welding, call me old fashioned but I'd still prefer some paint on the frame and swing arm. Though the rear light was nicely integrated into the curvature of the seat/frame.

  19. Someone mentioned the tank earlier. That seems to be what is holding up deliveries.

  20. A component outsourced to a now ceased trading manufacturer and taking time for the replacement manufacturer to build enough parts. The Panigale V4 has a similar issue with outsourced component manufacturers not being able to make bits quick enough. Andy
