Hi all Would anyone be able to post up some close ups of the decals on the fuel tank please Im having the tank painted and the correct early font decals and laurel wreath put on and want to show the painter the position of them It had the later square block font smaller decals so i have nothing to compare to Thanks Matt [email protected]
Hi. My tank is being painted too. The painter took photos of the decal locations with a tape measure. I'll see if I can get a copy of them for you. Mind you, mine is a 2001 996S. But I suspect the locations are very similar if not the same.
Hi Great thanks Are they the same type of graphics, mine have the silver insert with the bronze thin edging ,slightly bigger than the plain silver ones Thanks Matt
Totally agree, mine are metallic silver with goldfish edges that don’t show too well on the image but lying here in the bath it’s the best I can do at the moment I’ll take some in the morning and post them if it will help.

Tim just a quick question,does the bottom edge of the ducati sticker run lower at the start as it looks in the photo like it runs into the tank swage line at the beginning and doesnt run parallel to it? Has the tank been repainted or is it original paint and graphics Thanks Matt
I’ve tried to show the sewage line on these images from my 97 916 which hasn’t been painted and probably similar to yours.
