Trying to remove rear foot pegs. Got the workshop manual and it just says remove bolts and they pell out. Problem is the exhaust heat shield is in the way. Any one done this and what did you do? Regards Steve
Once the four bolts are out just give it a bit of a jiggle, I did remove the rear hugger to gain access to the bollts through the exhaust guard, nothing else to remove or undo
Cheers was just removing the four bolts you can see. My workshop manual does not mention the ones up behind the exhaust. Done it now many thanks. Regards Steve
I did mine without removing hugger but it is fiddly job. You fitting an exhaust mount at the same time as you need one?
My first 959 didn’t have the extra couple under the seat. The new one does. I’m guessing a slight revision to keep the heat shield more stable.
