on the whole, a good van, plenty boom boom for a 1600. i service a small fleet for a delivery firm, they cart Beer kegs all over, and at speed, so they get good workout. they eat the brakes, front and rear need replacing every service, if not before. all 2015 or newer, none over 50k on the clock, and still under warranty, one has had a turbo fail and replaced by the dealer at v.low millage and another a gearbox. that went straight to the dealer before i put an ear to it.
i find if you empty the kegs into your throat instead, you can save thousands on transport costs! Any whistlings in your experience?
yip, from the turbo that got replaced. but dont automatically assume its the turbo. leaking gaskets around the EGR can sound like a blown turbo, any air leaks around the inter cooler system can give you a good hiss.
