On the rear swing arm in front of the rear tyre. I hadn't noticed it until it popped it's head up on the top part directly in front of the rear hugger . Can anyone report similar? And what's the best solution ? Cheers
As opposed to the front swing arm ?? Soz, couldn't resist PS, had a look at mine, no paint missing as yet ?
Ok, had a 2010 mate, but don't recall issues. In front of tyre I could understand, but on top in front of hugger is an odd place to get blistering (guessing its worked its way up from in front of tyre then?). Re painted or powder coated am guessing is the only proper fix ?
Can I just say that was a really good response to my opener. I wasn't dreading your reply, but I was doing bench presses... metaphorical speaking of course!
What about some of that tank protector self adhesive stuff cut to shape to cover as a very temp solution ?? I think KTM do like a swing arm coloured grippy surface one, it's a shit idea, but covering is the only way until you remove the arm and have it re-coated I reckon, as touching up will look even shitter ??
Thanks Wayne, will maybe have a look at that. Just a thought, but it's a good job your last name isn't the same as mine!
This gritty stuff on the side I was thinking of mate ?? Not brill, but better than blisters eh ?? And probably much cheaper if you get similar form a hardware store etc ??
