Do the TPIs still smell nice?

 

Will do in the summer.

 

It smells the same, however slightly less smoke at start up and idle.
TPI is not really 100% direct injection as the Italian prototype.
Either way seems a clever design as oil does not mixes with petrol around the crank area so in theory can run less oil and the crank bearings are not starved.
IMO uses 15% less fuel used on the same route as the carbed bike, oil should be 80:1 ish.
