  1. Hi guys, im going to do an oil change soon, will be the first time ive done the panigale. as i have a thirteen plate, will the cap have 10 mm threads in for a tool or will i have to pry the thing off.its not the best design in the world and i dont want to compromise the face of the casing in anyway

  2. Should be tapped. If you have to pull the cover, whilst it's not good marking the case, the seal is in the bore via 2 o-rings. I've seen some pretty horrific attempts at getting the filter cover off and they've still sealed ok.
Take you time and use a small edged tool to start with if you need to remove it without the screws.

  3. cheers fella, ive made some 10 mm pullers so i hope it is tapped ...ive also seen some horrific attempts ...thanks again

  4. the holes in the cap are threaded, you can screw some long 10mm bolts into the cap, and pull on the bolts. I think there is a puller for this too., but not really needed.
