  1. Well, it looks like because of the front frame they have relocated a load of the electronic gubbins on top of the air box... so not so much room for fuel tank... and have gone for the option that a lot of the race superbikes use anyway to lower the COG of the fuel.

  2. Battery under the tank...shudder

  3. My thoughts were that this was because using the V4 means more weight is naturally to the front and they needed to counteract this by moving the fuel tank to the rear to get the ~50/50 weight distribution. There's also the fact that nearly all race teams and many track riders take more weight to the rear anyhow on the existing Panigale to reduce front end crashes. I think its worth mentioning that this is not necessary for most since these guys are going much harder off the rear than the average rider who would want the better front end feel of having a bit more weight forward on the V2 or the V4.

  4. It's under the cover at the front of the tank... dead easy to access ;)

  6. On the D16 the battery is actually under the fuel tank, not gone bang yet !!

  7. I’m thinking more access for sausage fingered middle aged men who use it a few times a year and always need the battery charged.

    Me then ;)

  10. If it is anything like the Panigale you’ll be able to charge it via the (diagnostics?) plug under the passenger seat.... no need to get at the battery.

  11. Cant see a feed line for the fuel, only the two drain lines on the left.

  12. It’s WiFi fed

  14. I didn’t specifically look for them but my guess is that they are under the seat where the fuel pump is. Might swing by today so Carole can have a butchers before the hoards tomorrow so will take a picture. Andy

  15. That wiring!! I've just rewired my Triton and there's only about a dozen wires in total.

  16. Great thanks. Just odd that you cant see a feed line into/out of the airbox.

  17. Looks really cool! a bit of a packaging triumph for sure.
