400ss Igniter

  1. Hi wondered if anyone could assist. The two
    Igniters on my Ducati 400ss seem to get overly hot I have burnt one pair out could anyone advise what maybe causing this

  2. Are the ignition coils the original fitment? Coils with a lower resistance than standard could cause this.

  3. Thanks Derek, The Coils are are from a Guzzi Nevada so this could be the source. 400ss parts seem hard to come by

  4. Owners who fit Dynacoils usually use those with a 3Ω primary resistance.
