Is it me or has this thread gone completely out of hand? Mind you, when the estate agents asked me what I was looking for property-wise I told them straight that I wanted a good sized garage that came with a house. No lie! You can imagine the silence on the other end of the phone So that's what I bought. It even has an inspection pit and the rig on a rafter to hook up a block and tackle for engine removal etc. Doubt I'll ever use it of course. I mean, cars - where's the passion in fettling them....?
As long as it's OK as I feel slightly responsible! I've only ever contributed to the Benelli forum and it's full of great guys willing to help any fellow Tornado (in my case) owner with even free spares offered for those in need. Jap bike forums are just dreadful and I'll say no more. I think this sub forum of the site is bang on and not taking itself too seriously - probably because of the age of the machines we're into (and ours). The Multistrada forum....? Not so much fun as far as I can tell so far....
For being a naughty boy, I'm not giving you your copter back. I've moved it to my secret underground volcano lair. You'll never find me.
I'm dragging this thread back on topic kicking and screaming.... Here you go Henk. They look in very bad condition in the photos but they're not really that bad. A bit dirty and in need of a polish plus the coating has started to yellow and go white in places. As I mentioned previously - she's in need of a good deal of TLC. Apologies for the repeated images. Not sure why that's happened or how to delete them. Goddam newbie....
Yes it has. The label is on the underside of the ECU but I eventually got a decent photo of it. As you'll see it answers the other mystery that's being discussed about the Strada moniker. They were defo called Stradas!
