Written by CJ on behalf of my Papa (he’s struggling today) I’ve a brand new Ducati, as a get well gift from my Kids Stef & CJ. One small issue is, I’ve got to put it together myself. This might well take some time... Sorry Viv.. We couldn’t drag a wheelie bin up to Dads bedroom, but at least it’s red.. NOODSX with a little help from CJX&StefX
Looks like fun! Glad you got a real metal version, I heard the fake metal were not so good LOL. Watford at the weekend - any predictions?
It say 10+ just take it steady and if you get stuck Creamy will take it apart again for you with his angle grinder Keep the thread going with the build dude
Thanks all your comments made Papa Smile he wanted to carry on working on it but I’ve taken it away until tomorrow nasty CJ hey I’ve bed him down for the night he needs his rest far too much excitement for one day We’ve already had it apart many times as Dad was not happy on how it fitted looked cool to me CJ
I've got one of these that I started to build over Christmas but then forgot about (full size 900 much more fun to play with!) but found some parts did not seem to fit particularly squarely and ended up getting slightly bent out of shape when tightened especially in the 'engine' bay area - have you also found this?
Dad is so fussy he sent Stef to his Workshop to get his dremel thing to take some imperfections off we’ve not done anymore on it today as Papa is not so good at present CJX
Good luck with the build mate, had the same one at Xmas and yet to open it. Must say the 10+ takes some pressure off - I remember a few years ago having a jigsaw that said 4 - 6 years on the box. It only took me a few months to complete so was well happy
Me and my 4.95 year old daughter (5 next week) started one a couple of weeks ago. It got very complicated, very quickly, but we'll still finish it together I'm sure And yes, her table was far too small
