I’ve A New Ducati..

Discussion in 'Builds & Projects' started by Noods, Feb 8, 2018.

  1. Written by CJ on behalf of my Papa (he’s struggling today)

I’ve a brand new Ducati, as a get well gift from my Kids Stef & CJ.

One small issue is, I’ve got to put it together myself.

This might well take some time...

  14. I've got one of these that I started to build over Christmas but then forgot about (full size 900 much more fun to play with!) but found some parts did not seem to fit particularly squarely and ended up getting slightly bent out of shape when tightened especially in the 'engine' bay area - have you also found this?

  15. Dad is so fussy he sent Stef to his Workshop to get his dremel thing to take some imperfections off we’ve not done anymore on it today as Papa is not so good at present

  16. Good luck with the build mate, had the same one at Xmas and yet to open it.
Must say the 10+ takes some pressure off - I remember a few years ago having a jigsaw that said 4 - 6 years on the box.
It only took me a few months to complete so was well happy :innocent::innocent::innocent:

  19. Me and my 4.95 year old daughter (5 next week) started one a couple of weeks ago.

It got very complicated, very quickly, but we'll still finish it together I'm sure :)

And yes, her table was far too small
