We need a new washing machine and there’s an Argos clearance centre in Darlington that sell stuff that has minor marks etc so I thought I’d read a couple of reviews of the place...... laire Wheldon 3 reviews 9 months ago I can honestly say I've never been more discussed, I've just been here to buy a new TV and little girl only 5 years old was desperate for the toilet (number 2) so I asked poility if she could use the toilet but the women just said she carnt. So I had to take her side to go or she would pooed herself. For the women to come out and not even give me chance to clean it start shouting at me to get it removed or she will call the police. This did get cleaned up. What the hell are you ment to do let her poo herself. Well it's far to say I came away with no TV and certainly will not step foot over that door again. am 1 review 7 months ago I went to this shop on Saturday 17th June with my daughter and her friend and my friend my daughter who is 14 years old was trying out a sofa and sat on it. I was looking for a new washer and fridge freezer as I'm furnishing a new home. The week before I had spent nearly £600 and had some help off a lovley man called Steve. Howeva back to Saturday 17th June. My daughter was removed and escorted to the door by a female member of staff called CLAIRE PARKIN I think. I was fuming that a member of staff would do that when I was in the shop looking at items I did not no till I went outside wen she told me. So I went back in the shop to ask this female member of staff WHY he attitude was discusting she was rude arrogant and simple had no customer service wot so Eva. Yes I was fuming yes I lost it with her then to top the lot this jumped up little cock end of a lad joined on he was probs about early 20s with blondish hair I couldn't belive it wen he repeated himself by saying how's ya microwave ova n ova again. ( I had bought one the wk b4) had nothing to do with him neither my microwave. He then said to me I will have to do my self defence on you I just laughed in his face. I cannot belive the service I got in one of my favourite shops but I will NEVERBE GOIN BACK EVER AGAIN . I do recommend this shop to lots of people I will now not recommend to anybody.
To be fair we were all warned that if we voted for Brexit that children would not be allowed to use toilets in Argos stores and would be forced to poo in the streets.
Well the shopping trip went well and we got a washing machine for next to nothing. No human excrement was seen in the car park and we got an escort from a guy on an off road bike as we drove along Park road. He was on the path doing about 40mph. An added bonus was the two stunt riders on a quad bike wheelying the length of Valley Street. My lad made the observation that lots of people still had their Christmas lights up on the outside of their houses. Got to love Darlo .....
