That’s true, and if it’s belt service have them both done. Get receipt for coolant and fluids while there, and add into file with the service books. Same with interim oil, now mine is out of warranty I’m inclined to do every 3k miles (if I get to use it any time soon!) It’s a 5yr old bike, so condition starting to become more important than stamps providing the big stuff is done
Yep. The later schedules are a mix of time and mileage. Desmo gets banded about somewhat and can be a bit misleading but the schedules are fairly easy to follow. Just differ for different engines/models. The mileage related stuff is common sense really but does cover more than just valve clearances.
Thanks for all this. Will be contacting dealer who last serviced at 3 years old to check if brake/clutch fluid were changed then ask them to quote for annual service + belts & coolant change.
