Has anyone else had the black satin paint on the rear exhaust / footpeg hanger flaking off ? Not been in the wet at all, done 1200 miles only. She is booked i to get the brake MC done and i have asked them to check it as its not looking too good for a £24K bike...very poor finish. So they are going to take pictures and send to Ducati for advice from the warranty team in Bologna. Be interesting to hear what they say. Anyone else had issues like this?
Okay, that rules out where my thoughts were going and I learnt something. Didn’t know the peg hangers weren't silver. I hope you get it resolved to your satisfaction. Andy
Ok then i expect the hanger has been painted that was supplied in the kit as they are normally Silver and the dealer would have had to order a Black one as a separate part, dont think the original Black part would have paint coming off it as they are anodised, maybe post some photos up?
Its going into Ducati a week Friday for them to assess whilst they are doing the MC recall, they say they are going to take pictures and send them off to Bologna... Oh and BTW, all PP hangers are black so the hangers havent been touched by the dealership, this is a factory finish. I think the hanger was actually supplied for the panniers, nowt to do with the exhaust. Either way, its a problem they are going to have to rectify
All PP rear footpeg hangers are black but the full termi replacement footpeg hangers are silver,they were on all pre dvt models.

Ooooooh perhaps you supplying dealer ordered the wrong one and painted it ,maybe, perhaps,probably not,who knows,not beyond the realms of probability is it being as they come in two colours.
