Auto Electrician In The York Area

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by AirCon, Mar 21, 2018.

  1. Can anyone recommend an auto electrician to install a horn on a race motorcycle?
Must work the York area, accept wotzits as payment and have a very high tolerance to childlike questions.

Asking for a friend (see the Nukes that follow), hand bags (lock thread) are from his helper.

  11. Some horns are isolated and others are grounded (normally only have one connection).....
If you get the + and - around the wrong way the sound comes out negative and cancels out other bike horns... just swap it around until the silence stops...

  14. Anyone live near Heathrow - if so pop in an tell AC that his brake light switch in his Merc possibly just needs adjusting. check the old switch, is the plunger on a ratchet? can you pull the plunger out? might take a wee bit of effort,. if so, get yer new switch, pull the plunger out and refit with brake pedal pressed. better with engine running. then release pedal after fitting. :):upyeah:

  15. Is it more a case of comfort braking? I follow people whose brake lights seem to be constantly on.

Ask AC if it is due to comfort braking.
