1989/90 851 FONT nr 9 example

  1. Can anyone show me how a 9 looked like in the 851 fontype?
    or a complete set?
    or a name of the font?

    is the red different from the current red?

  4. I'll have a look Koen,

    But most of Ducati's decals have been just logo's with modified fonts used, there has been some that we're standard typefaces and quite a lot of other fonts that are 'similar'.

    I'll have the decal for the 888 I would think, but probably not the full font set to get the 9 from, but maybe there is a close match.

    The font on the 1098 for example is a standard font.....but with the kerning etc. altered, the 888 could be the same, although I think back then they'd have had a designer do a unique decal.

    i found out that the 900 SS uses the same design to match so with some copy,cut and paste, it's already on the design :)

  6. If that's the case it will be easy....is the 600 SS the same?

    In most fonts the 6 and 9 are the same, one just inverted.

  7. These guy's can do the stuff you need.

    The old man used them for his SP4, outstanding quality and faithfulness of the originals.
