Mz 1000s ???

MZ and CZ were big brands in years gone by, mainly 2 strokes as I recall, is that not this lot in your link ??

1000cc parallel twin. Nice bike for an MZ, nippy, frugal, well built. Very few around.

 

I think they did a Skorpian 600ish as well.

Have a look at the above video from 1:30 for a few seconds - a close call?

 

They go pretty well similar to a vtr1000 performance wise and the handling seems good. A mate of mine has one and has no complaints about it although I haven’t seen it for a couple of years. Real world performance on fast A and B roads ( although Mike has done a 115 lap at the manx which may have something to do with it ).
Spares could be a problem ?

 

Is this what is known as a back handed compliment?

We had 3off MZ50's and a MZ80 between me and my bro.....
We were poor.
Fastest thing around once we modified them, but still very UNCOOL compared to our mates FS1E and AP50's.
