  13. Finished the roof I started on Monday, had to get out of the way pretty quick, these roofers don't waste any time. Another section to be re-timbered next week, a total of 82 tons of stone state to go on the whole roof.

  18. Came home to find a line of ants all the way from the front door, through the hall, into the kitchen and up into my kitchen bin. They obviously liked something in there. o_O

Since then, I've changed a bin bag and hoovered up 10,000 ants. :imp: Amazing how quickly they dispersed when I emptied the bin.

  19. Drove from Almeria to Barcelona, about 850km in 8 hours. Got the hire car signed back in at the airport with no additional damage and took the airport bus into town. Lots going on in the hotel lobby but checked in and went up to the room to find a chilled bottle of good quality Cava with the compliments of the management. Polished that off followed by a second bottle with some tasty tapas in the roof top restaurent whilst the sun went down and finished with a coconut and chilli mojito before bed. I’ll have a killer of a hangover tomorrow but I’ll deal with that in the morning as I’m feeling really chilled and content now. Andy

  20. Well, ours catastrophically failed...main heat exchanger, fan, pump, and some electrode thing (cant remember exactly what he said) - about 1200 quids worth of parts so, at least it failed properly....i think if it was a horse it'd have one eye, three legs and no teeth...must confess i expected it to last a bit longer (Worcester bosch)....
