on my multi enduro, slowing down and only from 43mph to 40mph the bike really ‘shakes’ and front end wobbles then calms down again?? If I have a really light grip it like a mini tank slapper?? Thoughts??
Nearly all the Japanese bikes of the 70s and early 80s exhibited that trait. It was related to the steering geometry, I can't remember the details but I think it was to do with the trail and a steep steering angle. This might be replicated on a Multi with too much ride height.
Mine weaves like mad under heavy braking, but that’s on the brakes not just coasting and it’s from pull on of brakes to realise of brakes normally (and on track)
I had that once but I knew the cause as I had tried to make off with a disc lock on causing a disc that slightly distorted. Replaced both front discs and pads and the wobble went
I've dropped the yokes 5mm on mine. No real issues except riding like a dick.! Can be a little nervous if I hit cats eyes when cranked over at speed (120+) All done in Germany etc..!..
yes, can do, had similar on other bikes - the opposite to a ‘sweet spot’ and stabilises once critical speed passed.
I’ll check tyres pressures. Riding with top box but does it without but worse today. All setting are default but could be slightly stepped front tyre so getting new one fitted and will check seating of tyre and balancing
