Offer still current & they seem to run it pretty regularly. Only downside for me is that the trays are marginally too big for my Halfords Industrial tool cabinet - WTF? The cabinet's a few years old so maybe they changed the dimensions. Bastards
Fit perfectly in mine. Too high or too tall? I’ll be off to get another this morning as I stripped a Torx last night so I’m going to bin that cheese Torx set and get a decent one
Height is fine but they are a few mm too long so that a set won't fit side by side i.e. with long side of the tray running front to back in the drawer. Bizarre.
Maybe the trays aren’t standard widths. Maybe they’re designed to go in with certain other trays. You may just have three of the widest trays that won’t go in together. I only have one, soon to be two when I nip out later.
Sorry, didn't explain clearly. It's not the width that's the issue, it's the length. I have three trays, all identical dimensions, clearly intended to fit three side by side with the long side of the trays running front to back in the drawer - but they are just a few mm too long (unless you remove the outer box, leaving only the flimsy inner). I've had the cabinet a decade, wonder if they've changed the design...
Thanks JH, that answers that question then - they are def not designed to fit the top cabinet, at least the version I have which is 37cm front to back. I also have the roll cab - bigger at 41cm but doesn't have any suitable drawers! Ho hum. Still good value for the trays, I'll just have to stack 'em.
