Tool Cabinet Draw Liner?

Discussion in 'Clothing, Gadgets & Equipment' started by Rman, Jul 1, 2018.

  1. Has anyone found a supplier of thin, dense foam/rubber suitable for draw lining at reasonable cost?:)

I'd rather not use the anti-slip matting if I can find the thin foam supplied in another tool chest.

  2. Try haberdashery dept in the range or dunelm mills.

  3. Thanks Paul:) bought a load of curtains and some furniture:D but no neoprene:(

  5. i dont line my tool drawers but i do have some anti slip matting. its thin neoprene type rubber which is perforated. i use it to lay over the tail piece when fitting the Kreiga tail pack.
its sold as anti slip cupboard liner in Wilkos comes on a roll
its also used by paint shops to produce a very effective fake carbon fibre effect

  7. No problem, I bought some foam from Halfords a while back, and ended up doing 4 complete cabinets with the stuff. My lass said I was nuts as it took several nights with wine and a scalpel blade but I think it does a fine job. Think it was 15 or so drawers by the time I had finished :D
