Actually, that does seem to be an academically & legal fact. What’s made me sigh (may be not grumpy) was mid matched toast. One side lovely and brown, the other side not done much.
Tell me about it. Neighbours over the road recently: Dad (or Dad-figure) yelling at ten-year-old girl that she can't go back into the paddling pool, girl yelling even louder that she can and that dad(-figure) can't stop her nor tell her what she can do, and on and on it went ... embarrassing.
Tell me about it. When I toast two Tescos mini naans under the grill I have to turn them round half way through or they're doughy down one side. Turning them over to do both sides I can accept, but this extra procedure per side to get an even cook is outrageous.
I have 2 slots in my toaster and a switch to turn on one or both. Very posh, I know. Every time it is put in the cupboard, the switch must get knocked and I always end up toasting with only one slot causing mis-matched toast. 1st world problems, eh.
