Keep your bikes the same colour. I'm extremely confident that if I traded my V4S up to a Desmosedici, my Mrs wouldn't have a clue. However, if I swapped it for a KTM1290 or something, I'd be rumbled. Instantly.... Women are tuned in to colour! The sneaky fuckers!
Yep, I know the throttle goes both ways, but going slow is no fun at all, and I ride for fun only, it is unusual to see ANY cars outside of the towns/villages where I ride, so was very unlucky to be caught speeding by a Cop Car at all, let alone twice. Demerit points last for 2 years so I will have to be careful for a while. I need my licence for work and will lose my job with no licence.

Commute on it when the weather is sensible - maybe half of the year. The test puff three time Sadly thinking & tinkering.
Easy fix, just tell her indoors your mate at work is thinking of buying your bike and you are thinking of buying his but before you do, both are trying each others for a couple of months to see if you both like them and to avoid giving the dealers any money. She will think finally you've got a money head on but all along you got a new bike, got rid of the old one and she's none the wiser that you bought a new bike from a dealer.
