Can anyone advise please.. I’m rebuilding a 916 and the frame is to be powder coated and repainted.. I know of a company who produce replica vin stickers but I’m led to believe they cannot reproduce the Ducati typeface? Any info on this subject would be great. Maybe Ducati can help? Anyone know ?? Many thanks....

I once had a jumbo transit hgv van that required a new vin sticker basically as it was a 4.3t van it couldn't be tested at a normal test station despite it been done forever in Scotland anyway it got refused test in England so I internet searched found a guy near Doncaster who met me at a service station and gave me a brand new vin sticker (I'd sent him a picture to copy of the old one) I removed the old one stuck on the new and went back to the same mot station and got a test approx £25 sticker
Not dodgy .. it’s just a sticker (on a Duc at least) , the stamped VIN on the headstock is still visible and is what everyone should check
