  1. Breaking news. Andy

  2. No smoke without fire.

I always thought Angus Robertson was the more likely though, with his alarming "Death Stare"

  3. When is that absolute c*** of a ‘female’ (loose term) going to go?

  4. And he’s crowdfunding for legal costs fpmsl

You didn’t see Rolf doing that...

  5. All bluster (and hands...)

  6. Says going to start a more grass roots political party, for the people. It will be much more touchy feely...

  7. hmm, no noob analysis?. the first thing i thought was, clever fecker.
any other party would bluff/attempt to ride it out, he resigns UNTIL the process is carried out to its conclusion and he is still wrong.
lets see what the cvnt had to say on it.
I feel a huge sadness about this whole situation. Alex has been my friend and mentor for almost thirty years and his contribution to the SNP and the independence movement speaks for itself. While the decision to resign has been Alex’s alone, I understand why he has chosen to separate the current questions he is facing from the day to day business of the SNP and the ongoing campaign for independence.

These last few days have been incredibly difficult for the party and, I am sure, for those involved in the complaints that have been made to the Scottish Government. I appreciate that they will have been difficult for Alex too.

However, the hard fact remains that two complaints were received by the Scottish Government that could not be ignored or swept under the carpet. Complaints must be investigated without fear or favour, regardless of the seniority of the person involved.

I know party members will be upset by this news, just as I am. I also know there are many questions that can only be answered in the fullness of time. It is important now that any legal processes are allowed to take their course.

In the meantime, I agree with Alex that the cause of independence, to which both he and I have dedicated our entire lives, is bigger than any one individual. And the work we must do to achieve independence is more important now than ever.
.all the while 30 odd Westminster mp's are under inestigation but are keeping it secret.

  8. Is the Weinstein Film Company chipping in alongside the Russian Federation of Hackers, Sackers and Slackers?

  9. Tadaaahhhh :D

Agree, he knew with parliament starting next week and seeing the damage Corbyn and the Labour party are facing over anti semetism and how that has dragged the Labour party down, that by leaving the snp he is now a single private person who cannot be held over Sturgeons head.

Although why he decided it now instead of when it came out makes me feel he has spent the last week or two playing with the probable outcomes.

I thought he was a cheeky cvnt to ask for crowdfunding help for legal fee's given he's had a good old screw out of the taxpayers over the years and with multiple media top ups too would seem cheeky. Still if there are enough daft apeths who want to contribute, then let them do so.

I've said to you before fin, there is a piece of the jigsaw missing here. He was a nobody before :D, but he's even more of a nobody now.

Not in government or any official post and not even an mp. He was dropped by the group who want to take over The Scotsman, his RT show barely gets 10,000 viewers and is dropping weekly so what is the point, it's a bit like unfriending your nan. Dunno

  10. yip, he was a nobody before, tho you will have mentioned him more than no other.
the 6th most popular show on RT with more viewers than the sbbc's primer current affairs program. plus youtube plus FB. plus twitter.
maybe he is skint? he has, donated near 500k of his wages to charity. i dont remember you jumping up and down when Alister Carmichal got the Joseph Rowentree foundation to pay his legal fees after being found guilty of lying over "frenchgate" nor when he retook his seat at WM.
yip, a nobody, which is probably why you haven't heard of all those below him. some up here will have heard about the problems with labour, but the tory party? up here, Councillors msp's and mp's still in their jobs despite racist, xenophobic, homophobic, misogynistic and bullying actions of the ruth davidson party nor will you have heard the denials from the organizations she claimed she uses to "re educate" the offenders that are still in their jobs. but, she is the "chosen one" after all.
i dont doubt he has made enemy's in the civil service, he is reputed to have kicked fuck out of em, you know what their like, fuggin council workers eh? and after 7years of labour they had become a tad dodgy with their dealings.
yip, politics stinks, but no party deals with accusations better. no party has ever had this much scrutiny. i sense a backlash coming on.

  11. i sense a backlash coming on. You would, you're an snp indi loon, a rebel without a clue

Blimey fin, I thought I was reading the script for Braveheart for a moment, I know how much you like portraying the Scots as victims with a cause and the only fighters of the truth

But lets look at some truths.

The SCOTTISH devolved government changed the rules about harrassment/sexual harrassment etc last December

Two SCOTTISH members/ex members of the SCOTTISH political system made complaints of innappropriate behaviour against the ex SCOTTISH first minister, whilst he was the SCOTTISH first minister, at the First Minister's of SCOTLAND's residence.

    The SCOTTISH police are investigating

Now whilst you try and portray the snp as a world party and government, could it just be as simple as it is claimed. Alex pissed on his own doorstep and not some major conspiracy as you always like to promote?

tho you will have mentioned him more than no other. Actually I've mentioned Sturgeon more but don't let facts get in the way :D

  12. There is a need to investigate these claims, as if true, sexual misconduct/ inappropriate behavior is not acceptable.

That said rushing to decide Salmond is guilty would seem odd and unreasonable. The recent Ted Heath, Lord Bramell, Leon Brittan & Cliff Richards investigations prove that.

  13. £60+K in his crowd funding pot, I wonder if theres some sort of Barnett Formula going on here?

  14. What, like a hairdo for the Teflon coated?

  15. if so, he will receive 6k, one of yours will receive 63K.
    Baa Baa.
yip larry, lets look at some truths, A labour MSP went public with her experience of a sexual assault by a still undisclosed senior politician within here own party during the me too debates which led to the call for procedural reforms.
the uk gov voted to keep similar investigations secret.
two civil servants one no longer working there waited 5years to make a complaint, at would could be a pivotal year for the uk in terms in its constituent parts.
yip the police have received a report, they also received one for Michelle Thompson MP.
the uk gov is in turmoil but the media want to talk bout a nobody.
the crowd fund is now at 67k.
aye, its a bit of a pisser, but its the reporting of it which interests me.
i aint batting this back and forth. its bigger than him. unless your imagination starts working overtime of coarse.

  16. Your honour, if I may direct the jury to post 10 :D

  17. Not really fin, no

It's a bit like putting on the tv for the premier league and actually getting the inter community mushroom growing competition. More people have heard of Salmon in Tesco's than politics

  18. yip, like your sources, very much so, you pay a premium price then get let down.
    interesting line no?
Remarkably, despite scores of people having schooled the brainless list member (who was overwhelmingly but ineffectually rejected by the people of Dundee West by more than 30 percentage points in 2016) in this basic fact of law almost immediately, the tweet remains live as we write.

Apparently seeking to join Marra in the defamation dock was notoriously demented D-list actress Frances Barber, who quite impressively managed to interpret Salmond’s temporary resignation as an admission of guilt despite his statement repeatedly and strongly emphasising the exact opposite

plenty of cocksure editors and commentators, and now the former leader of labour have attempted to slander the site and lost. anything you wanna add?

  19. As fascinating as this installment of Tales from The Ant Mound is, can we get back to the topic in hand?
