all day on radio 2 today. First time I can remember that I had the radio on from about 11 through to 6 where it wasn’t just background noise. A true genius amongst geniuses.
He wasn't really a fave of mine. I saw him live in Barcelona which had some great moments but some awful ones too. When he was in his oxygen tent on stage crying was a low point!

Look, don’t like him fine whatever. Go somewhere else with your poison. His music was as good as it gets, over decades, and as relevant today as others was the time it was released.
You cannot deny his talent. I like his early stuff and his time with J5. Not so keen on the latter bit. But the guy was enormously talented. He was weird, yes. He was flawed, yes. he has issues, yes. But the guy could sing and dance like no other. No convictions, so I err on the misunderstood.
I have no opinion of him, but I don't understand your statement above though. Every thread has folks who agree and disagree, and surely you knew with this chosen subject matter, that you were gonna take flack, especially as you chose a weird as fuck, freakish , deluded kiddy fiddler as your chosen content??

Hell yeah, weird as they get (chimp called bubbles?!) But no real surprise, given his childhood. Genuinely reckon he was like one of those kids that has a brain injury at 9 and never actually get mentally older.
