Ok I can understand that. I think that blue livery would make for a great alternate set of fairings on the right 996R for instance..
Nah, this is mine and it’s worth much less due to the bling, and doesn’t look as classy as the origional, so I will be correcting it it won’t be going blue with microns
I agree that you gotta have the original fairings on hand, but still as an alternate fairing when the (blue) mood is right... Don't need to put Microns on though
Seriously, I have to say that I'm usually not a fan of race graphics "replicas" for a road bike and don't like too "busy" themes, unless it is spot on / era correct and done "right" as being coherent with the rest of the bike features. One good example of that to me IMHO is that '97 SPS that's been for sale for a long time: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1997-Ducati-916SPS-No-265-absolutely-immaculate-and-owned-by-me-from-new-/263710111781?rmvSB=true&nma=true&si=M78KXRw8SIcoxyvRXJVwTVDTzj8%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 Must be a great bike, but to me the race theme is off-topic on this '97, too "messy" with not even the right "stickers" / size etc... compared to the original Fogarty race bike it is said to replicate. Would have been sooo much better if cleaner low profile like this for instance:
Agree, at least nine has proper Corse wheels and factory graphics - but it’s still going back to standard
