  1. There was no difference in engine note(i wear earplugs, there was no change in performance, fuel consumption etc, when i pulled up to the ducati dealer in Graz Austria the owner was standing outside and didn't hear any difference in the exhaust note.

  2. don't you have any vision?

  3. Not for road use, no. It’s really light, which makes it good for race use where the teams can replace it when needed. We’ve just grown accustomed to wanting what the latest race teams have.

  4. Out of interest how old was the exhaust? And how many miles has it done/been on for?

  5. Citation? I know lads that have done epic mileage with full ti systems. I had one on my Tuono for 6 years with no issues.

I can’t recall seeing issues with ti systems, not saying they don’t happen, but it looks more of a manufacturing problem than something inherently flawed with the material.

  6. That said, I’d be interested to know how old it is and what mileage you’ve done with it.

  7. 5 years, 27000 miles,

  13. When you are quite done consoling the OP, I want you to know that I stubbed my toe recently and it hurt. The toe is older than 5 years and done considerably more mileage. Advice please!

And no, this is not a request that you post a pic of your shiny new toe, you titwarbler. : o p

  14. I bought a complete system for my Blackbird at the time. It was a lot lighter and the sound was more of a lovely rasp than the cheap loud noise some make but even on a carby it still needed setting up on a rolling road to get the best from it.

I see in here on the newer bikes some getting an ak and whether it is a need or preference, then seem to want/need mapping too.

Is it worth the money? No but if it's your money and you want one then crack on because most of us will have done it at some time.

  15. im just pointing out that its poor quality, would I buy another, definately not, ill have a punt at something else Mivv or Leo vince, they actually look better, like someone took time over design and appearance, than just a plain can

  16. I don't doubt what you mean chap, I bought mine in 2001 and they were a decent thickness, the ones I've seen opened lately seem to have the thickness of baco foil
