I’ve had the indignity of being interviewed by the police today, something I’ve never had before ( apart from speeding) .. My neighbour from ell! Had contacted them claiming I threatened him this morning.. So plenty of diabetic cake pls either posted or sent by drone to the scrubs, tools included inside pls ( I prefer snap on tools by the way) Munchly thanks x
I had a similar situation with and old work colleague a couple of years back, but with the added indignity of having the police turn up at work asking for me out of the blue. They said they had no record of me and couldn't find me on their system (why the hell would they have ) despite the fact I live 200yds from the regional headquarters and they travelled 8 miles to my work! Anyway, he had taken an intense dislike to me in the past when I was his direct boss, and had been dismissed some months before for being a general arsehole. I was a couple of levels above him on the pay scale, which he seemed to resent. I had to attend the station and was questioned, which despite there being no substance, is still an horrible experience. To be fair to the cop, he saw it for what it was and was fine. He rang me a couple of months down the line to tell me there was nothing to answer, apologised for it taking so long and told me the reason was that my accuser had insisted that half my workplace was interviewed and had even put in a complaint aginst the cop. He said the bloke was a total weirdo, which I could have told them 2 months previously. Annoying that you will now be on a database as having being questioned though, and nothing you can do about that.
It is bloody annoying. So say there was an assault close to where you live and you were questioned about an assault previously, after dibble pinging their databases, you could quite concieveably expect a knock on the door with plod wanting to ask you a few questions.
He approached me as I was getting in my car and started to rant.. I just said to him sorry I’ve nothing to say to you.. he carried on so I said your standing on my drive remove yourself please or I will remove you as your trespassing .. Please Note... this guy is a good 6ft 3 me... 5ft7.. A punch in the fruit and veg department will soon drop him down to my size though..
Had this before, a partner in the past struggled terribly with Schizophrenia, she really did have an awfull childhood. Unfortunately her episodes meant it was very damaging to myself and others around her who were nowhere near qualified to help her in the best way she needed. After a year or so, I finally was able to break away but it was hard. To the point of the reply, seeing I had finally left and this time it was for definite, she told plod I had been violent, I was arrested and held whilst they checked the story out. Like Robs story, there was no foundation to it but her intent was to punish me by causing doubt within my workplace and friends. Thankfully, they interviewed a lot of people, even my first ex wife and all said the same thing, I have never hit nor would I hit a woman or a child. After looking into it, plod apologised profusely and one said sorry you know how it goes, 6ft 3 21 stone bloke and a 5ft 5 woman, who are you going to believe? She was sectioned shortly after and started to get the help she desperately needed, which I felt was a positive, but yeah being falsely accused sucks and is scary if it's not happened before Bradders, you used to be funny before the porsche thread, you've been a miserable old bastard since The point that ties the two above posts together however, was that by the police investigating and finding out the complaint was a pile of dogshit, is that they now have it on record that someone else is stirring and causing trouble for you which in some parts actually protects you. I have sympathy for you noods, but you now have a record of events that supports your claim that a neighbour is a problem and officers as contacts should he do it again
I feel for you! If it's any consolation I was accused of trespass today! The plasterers next door had their dance music at full blast (despite the head builder telling us they would be working today but they would be a quiet as possible). I went around and asked them politely to turn down the radio and was given a load of abuse including that I was trespassing. It is a bit tricky to ring the door bell when there isn't a bell or indeed even a door..... Anyway phoned the builder who was very apologetic and emailed the owners who haven't bothered to reply. A now compiling a list of the songs that are the most unsuitable for a pair of 9 year old children for when the owners return to their house. I was a teenage whore by Hole is currently top. Anxiety high, depression level -1 and falling had a PTSD episode last night and now I’ve this loon to cope with.. About a year ago when Mrs N was here we were woken up at 2 am by a girl shouting and what sounded like doors slamming.. it was him.. luckily someone else had already called the police.. it later transpired that the thuds were not doors slamming it was him smashing his own head into the wall... I ain’t scared of him.. I’m scared of myself seeking the easy way out...
