Noods, is your neighbour in their own place or are they renting do you know? What advice did the police give you in regards to harassment from your neighbour If they haven't, approach the investigating officer you spoke to and highlight to him that with yourself being a vulnerable person, your neighbours actions make you believe you are at risk from him and you wish things to be taken and processed as such, additionally Contact your local Environmental health officer at the council, they will ask you at first to fill in a diary and return to them of around 7 days, They then send him a letter saying basically knock it on the head. If he continues, the Env health will put in sound equipment to be left with you for a number of days, they will explain how it works. If he is caught on the tape he will be written to again and maybe invited in for an interview with the council which will point out he has been caught on tape. Depending on the housing situation varying actions may follow That is a path you can take if you feel upto it, primarily it will feel like why isn't this happening quicker but it will be documented and if as described, should help towards an ending of the issue. That all said, what's happening to that bike you were refurbishing ?
Thanks mte.. It’s a 3 story 4 bed semi eg attached to Noodle towers unfortunately .. God knows how he can afford it, it was £280k when he bought it and needed at least £50k to update it.. ( he’s ripped the place apart, including taking walks out he shouldn’t have, but planning made him put them back, so after 2 yrs he’s achieved F all with it) the old couple who lived there previously were great, we had them as neighbours for 30 yrs.. he’s probably only succeeded in de valuing my house! He’s 24, divorced has a 5 yr old by his ex, works for the water board.. a smoker.. weed as well, has a shogun and 2 bikes a Honda enduro and a track bike.. beyond me how he affords it all but then it’s not my business..
Although they should know, often one part of plod does not talk to the other. Next time you want to talk to plod, mention to them you believe he has firearms and this escalates your concern given his instability. They are obliged to look into this and the appropriate ownership

I have no problem living in the world's most CCTV observed society. I went into the city centre today in full knowledge I was being observed constantly, passed many speed cameras on the way and probably ANPR systems tracking my car's movements. That doesn't bother me one bit. It's the same for everybody. Put everyone in the country on the same database and I've no problem with that either, but for an unfounded allegation to place you on a database with some undesireable citizens, that sticks in the throat.

About 2 years ago the police came knocking for my mum’s fella. They had his DNA from a fight in a pub years and years ago. Anyway they’d had a positive DNA match from a rape and they were not in the slightest bit interested in hearing any arguments, it was a case of come with us you scumbag rapist. Anyway he was taken, interviewed and held. He was adamant he’d had been driving home from work at the time and asked them to check Dartford crossing records etc. Despite his objections, in their minds they had DNA so continued to treat him like shit. Second DNA swab came back negative match . Sorry sir, off you go.
