Not if you make a plywood infil, made a pair up that fit in when needed. But to be honest haven't used them, the little step area is perfect for Jerry cans.
i would like a transporter, i have an LDV MAXUS, EXTRA HIGH ROOF, LWB, bought it as a conversion project 2.5 years ago, got to the insulating and lining stage then thought i would like to keep it as a van. Takes two bikes with ease and the contents of the house ( lol ) its massive, only done 51500 miles sweet as a nut, 2,5 engine 120bhp and does average 32mpg, vgc. If anyone interested PM me
No problem matey. Done it many times with two 1098's... plus all the gear. Hair driers, chest wig curling tongs the lot!
I’ve got a T6 Kombi and I can get a bike in easily if I take the twin seat out, it’s very heavy though.
Dont buy one without twin barn doors, it’s a massive pain in the hole and you will be forever hitting your head, swearing and cursing. I have one van with a tailgate and one with barn doors (T5 swb) which is fully prepped for track days; pop-top, lined, fridge elec. hook up etc. I love it but it has cost me a small fortune and does carry two bikes and all the kit!
