Nope. Just with all the vitriol, and naysayers suggesting it should be mandated PPE, just pointing out that thousands did the ride, and I am sure almost none will have worn much more than an open lid, gloves and maybe a bomber jacket (no armour, fashion item), and many will ride like that on their hipster bikes a lot. If legislated, that event wouldn’t happen. That’s what I’m saying
I always just think ATGATT really, doesn't have to be full one piece race leathers, but at least riding jeans, boots, jacket, gloves and helmet. Dress for the accident, not the ride. Plus the amount of gear out there to keep you safe and looking half decent at the same time there's no excuse.
And what's wrong with riding in shorts if their made from Aramid, or any other form of safety material ?
