748 Fork Stanchions

  1. So I have a later set of showa forks that have the 65 mm spacing for the brakes, can I get away with just swapping the stanchions around if I want to convert them to earlier forks with 40 mm spacing for the brakes?

  2. Would think so but you could probably just swap the bottoms over?
