What Chip Shop Extras

on the strength of this I must try curry sauce next time.

 

As a chip shop owner, it's nice to see you all enjoying the regional varieties. Support your local shop ( unless it's crap ).

 

Do you offer real malt-vinegar or non-condiment vinegar L-twin-lover?

 

It's condiment, or if you want to pay more I just pop in the house and get the Sarson's .

Irish curry? Is that just weak chicken gravy?

 

No not st all, it’s a richer, darker and all together spicier version of ‘chippy curry’
Speaking of which, it’s Friday yeah!

 

God knows why it’s termed Irish though?

Chip shops in Ireland are something else. I'll try and find the photo from the menu of one on a visit last year but what I ordered involved chips, cheese, bacon and Irish curry sauce. Together.

 

Sounds like a poutin gone wrong!
