Chain Adjusters 749/999

  1. I am looking for a set of aftermarket chain adjusters for a 749/999 with black swinging arm.

    Gilles used to make these but I can’t find any anywhere.

    Anybody got a set they want to sell?

  2. are Gilles the same make that were fitted to @CRYSTALJOHN 's bike R?. They were a well-engineered improvement to std and beautifully made - I used to look for these ever after on parked up 749/999 but very rarely saw them so no surprise they are now elusive (if these are "the ones")

  3. iirc @Chris The chain adjusters that were on my 749s came from Pro-twins, who commissioned their manufacture.

    Don't think there were that many made unfortunately, they were a work of art.

  5. The main reason I want some is because I already have some on my 749R trackbike. I would like to fit some to my new 749R as the standard Ducati chain adjusters are rubbish by comparison.
