Any good? You can get 2 versions, one with the old movement and one with a new movement which is cheaper.
Caliber 11 and Caliber 12 movements I believe. I bought the Gulf coloured one just because I've always liked them (the original), they they re-released them last year. I only wear it on special occasions, but yeah, I'm happy with it.
Got a 2001 Black Monaco with the Timer Buttons as a pressie from son about 4 years ago. It's feckin bulky........
I’ve been on the waiting list for some time for a new Rolex submariner and got the call today that they have one come in and I’m top of the list so it’s mine if I want it. The prices for these are through the roof at the minute, secondhand ones going for way more than new rrp
Autocorrect changed it before I sent it....and I’ve been on a plane for 11hours.. I’ll have a go and change it though, I don’t like incorrect spelling
I have warmed to the Heuer Monaco over the years. My brother bought the original with the Perspex glass when they first came out. I didn't like it at first but I do now. I used to think Panerai were hideous looking things but I own an 8 day now and it's probably my favorite. It's funny how your tastes change over the years.
What do you do with the extra day then Panerai gives you? I hope it's an extra day at the weekend. Knowing my luck, I'd buy a one with 2 Mondays.
Ha ha, yeah I work offshore deep sea right now so I get 27 straight Mondays followed by a Friday The 8 days refers to the movements power reserve after you've fully wound it up... 3 springs connected in series for the watch nerds amongst us
