I’m sure Ducati would be glad to sell me a rear paddock stand for the V4 but expect it will be expensive. Any suggestions for a better value, stand?
Harris Performance? If they do one you know it will be top qaulity and I'm sure it will be way less expensive than the factory offering.
I got this one and it fits great: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B079J6BZPC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Can recommend https://www.facebook.com/www.Geetechfabs/ - cheaper than ducati, more expensive than a lot of cheaper options, but quality is top notch and solid.
I also just pulled the trigger on one of these, so I'll let you know how it goes. https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/46248
Geetech rock, will last for ever as well whereas the cheap paddock stands are knackered after a year or two or proper use. I've got the paddock stands and also some peg stands which are really useful.
Haven't used Harris for a while so was surprised to see Royal Enfield motorcycles parent company now owns it? Can't see anything listed for the v4
Had Harris and DP, both pretty good. You can normally pick the DP ones up through this forum or eBay at decent prices (less than a third what Ducati will charge you, although normally nearer £100).
Ducati branded are made by FG Gubellini. I bought mine direct from them, the **98 stands are the same as for the pani’s, you get an adapter with it that increases the diameter to fit the Pani. https://www.fggubellini.com/en/rear-stands/21-cavalletto.html?search_query=Stand&results=64 Think it was about £140 delivered.
I got my rear one included in my deal for my V4, I think the invoice shows it as £145+VAT. Collected it today actually and feels nicely heavy and well built.
