    Customers purchasing a Panigale V4, V4S or V4 Corse are now eligible for a free BikeTrac with 12 months subscription and a 15% discount off their insurance premium.

    BikeTrac is a discreet motorcycle tracker that monitors the movements of your Ducati in real-time, allowing you to view status and journey history 24/7 with notification of unauthorised movements.
    This added level of security enables Ducati Insurance to offer a 15% discount on your insurance premium dependent on eligibility and terms and conditions.   2. Sounds like the insurance is still hampering sales then eh?

    When over at Chris's last time home he was telling us he very nearly pulled the trigger on one until he received some insurance quotes...

    Sales in the local dealership also extremely frustrated with the amount of customers being put off by insurance premiums.

  3. One of the best security devices, a GPS tracker. Well done ducati who as a company listen/observe & respond to customers habits. By forming better relations with other companies or indeed do a deal too get themselves branded equipment for their customer base (sometimes at a raised price but heyhoo).

  4. The biketrac is a great bit of kit actually.
    Although I don't get how anyone is struggling with insurance? I'm 30, 5NCB, reasonable postcode and I would have paid around £600 per year, compared to £400 on my S1000RR, hardly enough to moan about?!
