1198 Coolant Leak

  1. Had my radiator repaired 2 years ago .. Serviced the bike and topped up coolant reservoir
    I'm now getting a small drip that seems to come down from between the lower heat shield and ecu ... Any ideas as can't locate it or see anything when running the bike

  2. it's not uncommon for the reservoir bottle to leak around the threaded inserts.

  4. Yes,it's a pain. Lots of dismantling before you can get to it.
    just a tip, not a fix but you only need a little bit of coolant in the reservoir. You might find if you remove some fluid to the minimum mark it will solve your problem.
