Check clutch without draining oil

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by Duke600, Mar 16, 2013.

  1. Hi all...
As a follow on to my last thread, in which it was suggested I can check my clutch plates without draining the oil, can anyone advise the best way to do this?
I am assuming lean the bike over on its left side, and just remove the clutch cover?

  2. yep you got it in one :upyeah:

  3. Unless you were trackside, why bother?! Its only 3 mins to drain, no risk of it moving with the casing off and you can take your time checking the clutch.

But if you get as i explained very high corner speed in and out of gerrards and carry at edwinas exit, you will do very well.
