Al. Fitted my 600ss dd bike mate. The later wheels are lighter. A later monster large spindle rear wheel will not fit without changing bearings etc. The SSie models will fit carby rear spindles as they are the same. But the front wheel on a ssie uses the larger spindle but still can be made to fit. SSie ohlins shod models use the 5 spokes but most get snapped up by 851/888 owners.
Steve, I thought there was a width issue rather than axle size issue........don't you have to change the spacer or summatt to fit the IE rear to the SS? The IE front wheel could be an issue........speedo drives and the hub machining varies on the two versions of the carbed SS Brembo front wheels.... AL
