I purchased this from my local Ducati dealer to fit onto my 2016 Ducati 1200R Monster, but I sold the bike before I got around to fitting it. I test fitted it once then removed it within seconds as I wanted to get all the genuine carbon pieces together so I could fit them all at once. It's in perfect as new condition. 1) Why would you remove it... only to reinstall it with all the other carbon part you wrote that you had and then remove it again to sell it separately ? 2) Is it identical to the plastic OEM ignition cover that you removed?
\Why would I remove it? As explained in my first post I wanted to get all the genuine carbon fibre pieces together and install them together. The chain guard is dealer fit unless you have the socket to remove the rear wheel. I sold a number of the carbon parts when I sold my Monster as I gave the private buyer first call on the parts I had. Any my reason for the test fit is due to the cover not being identical. It's shorter. So the fit was to confirm if I was happy to pay what I paid for it based on the fit. I didn't realise I had to justify my actions and how I modify my bike on here? If the item had been on the bike I would have listed that.
