Evening all, with the talk on the forum recently about ear plugs I had to 400 mile overall trip to London last week for a flight to a stag doo. Due to work my plans changed so I travelled on the bike (848 open termi), it was all motorway so I decided to use ear plugs for the first time ever due to the expected wind noise mainly. I used the foam ones and they seated perfectly and comfy job jobbed... I went out for a local ride at weekend and thought Id use the plugs again, due to the slower speeds the wind noise wasn't there as expected but my tinnitus (7500-9500hz) was unreal and unbearable as its all I could hear, I want to try and not make my tinnitus worse so have been looking at the musical earplugs that reduce it by 21hz so they say. https://eggzearplugs.com/pages/magic?gclid=EAIaIQobChMImtjwufWW4wIV2ZrVCh1SCAuuEAAYASAAEgK91fD_BwE Has anyone used any of these types or any information on it. Cheers Stu.
I'm using similar plugs. Amazon jobbies but basically the same. Work great for me and no more getting in from a ride and having the background roar for an hour afterwards.
I have tinnitus but it’s always the same and doesn’t vary (unless I’m in a oxygen tank under pressure then it goes completely) I use these & have done so for about 6 years - they’re brill https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/produc...cancelling-headphones.html#v=qc20_apple_black
No only being at 2 atmospheres does that ! Cuts out noise in same way as over ear noise cancelling headphones but you can still here sirens / horns
Damn. It would have been worth that for silence. Oh well, walking on the beach around Hengistbury Head works as white noise to mask it.
