Obi Ducati produce limited runs of SPS’s and R’s etc.. What I’d like to know is, as per attached video when they launch a new R or similar at a press day they let the mc press have a thrash around on them, these still seem to be numbered, so where do they end up? They can’t sell them as new obv, do they give them to a few celebs or team riders? Or do they do something else with them? Can you tell me? Muchly thanks X

Will have been sold back out through the dealers as demo bikes, same way all press / bikes are, Ducatis no different...
The ones in the film were numbered 0000, or at least the one shown twice on close ups. All Italian registered too.
On a trip to the factory some years ago I was shown a room with about 50 bikes in...all different types, but they were ex-test and launch bikes.
