Going to my first ever MotoGP race day tomorrow super excited. For the experts out there, how early should i get there by car? I've a parking slot. Driving with my bro and sis in law from sutton coldfield
The first race, Moto3, is at 11:20. You will need to allow at least 45 minutes to an hour to get from the car park to a viewing point. Getting in and parked will not be your issue. Leaving will however frustrate you and take hours. I’d plan to arrive about 10 o’clock so you can have a mooch and get a coffee. Andy
so the race ends at 1.50 and moto 3 ends around 3 so will folks stay on after the gp race for the entertainment or will most typically want to leave right after the gp race?
The sequence is Moto3 followed by MotoGP then Moto2. In the Honda Moto2 era, people left after the GP but with the Triumph, Moto2 has a lot more support. The longer you stay, the easier it will be to get out. Andy
There will be moto e or red bull rookies after too. I’ve left at 6pm before and still sat in a Q for 20 min on the bike!
Sensational race - we were sat at woodcote so that lovely move on marquez by rins to set him up for that finish happened right beneath our noses! got there for 9.30am no issues and left at about 2.30pm no issues. well done to all organising - was superb!
